THOMAS

Thomas is a guitar luthier and carpenter based in the small town of Luneburg in Germany.
Thomas has loved working with wood since he was a little boy. He has a beautiful workshop in the middle of the city where he builds all sorts of musical instruments. We filmed him creating a new acoustic guitar and talked to him about how he started building guitars and his love of everything wooden.
We have never heard someone talk about wood with such passion. Thomas told us stories of some special types of wood that he imports from Oregon in America, just because he loves the way it smells when you cut it!
